Open Board Positions & Expectations 

ATD Hawkeye Chapter has the following board positions open to nominations for our 2026 ATD Hawkeye Chapter:

• President Elect (Assumes role of President the following year)
• VP of Events (15-month commitment)
• Co-VP of Membership (27-month commitment)
• Co-VP’s of Marketing & Communications (27-month commitment)
• VP of Professional Development (15-month commitment)

Expectations:

As a member of the ATD Hawkeye Board, it is expected that you are willing to dedicate 10-20 hours per month in support of the Chapter. This time is in addition to 4 hours attending monthly board and program meetings. Depending on the role, it may be necessary to invest additional time based on events or activities that occur periodically throughout the year.
