Resilience is a term used across sectors, from the individual, organization, and climate. Building resilience requires us to evaluate our current state, including strengths and vulnerabilities, as well as external impacts. By integrating this information with beliefs, values, vision, and mission, we can effectively set priorities, develop plans, and implement resiliency strategies at micro, mezzo, and macro levels of systems. This interactive session will equip you with tools and resources for personal and organizational growth.

Emily's Bio:

Dr. Emily Logan is a dedicated and accomplished professional with experience in higher education and social work. In her current role as Dean of Programming at Kirkwood Community College, she is at the forefront of shaping noncredit educational opportunities for the community. With a history of leadership at Kirkwood that began in 2009 as a faulty member, she also held the position of Dean of Industrial Technologies before assuming her new role. She continues to teach as an adjunct instruction in Social Sciences.
