PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
We are hitting the road in July for a learning opportunity at Indian Creek Nature Center! Kelli Kennon-Lane is the Director of Education at Indian Creek Nature Center. In the hour we are together, Kelli will provide a brief tour of some of the special meeting areas on the Amazing Space campus. While we "walk and talk", Kelli will share some ways to use the outdoors around you - the nature center, your local park, or even your backyard - to combat Nature Deficit Disorder. Research shows that just 20 minutes outdoors has incredible health benefits, both physical and mental. Together we'll experience how nature can heal, as well as discover the many benefits learning outside has on an individual.
BIOGRAPHYKelli Kennon-Lane oversees all educational programming at Indian Creek Nature Center (ICNC), leads Creekside Forest School, and supports ICNC’s mission to create champions of nature through education and inspiration.
