We currently use Camtasia as one of our tools to deliver training. But, as I'm starting to investigate other resources I also stumbled upon Adobe's Captivate. I was curious if anyone has tried Captivate who also is familiar with Camtasia and what their thoughts are on functionality and features?

Or if you have used any other virtual/eLearning/Video-based software to deliver training that you like!

    Thanks!

    Hi Amy!

I use Captivate a lot, but I'm afraid that I have never used Camtasia.  I do like Captivate a lot, it was pretty easy for me to learn the basics.

As far as training goes, my favorite is usually Lynda.com.  Their videos are very high quality and I find the cost ($25/month or $250/year, more if you want the exercise files) is a good value for the number of trainings they offer.

I have also had good luck with Adobe TV.  They are free videos, but since they are from Adobe directly they tend to focus only on the most recent release.

    Hope that helps!
