Description: 

The environment in which organizations operate is undergoing dramatic shifts. The L&D department is being placed under increasing pressure to skill talent at an accelerated pace and demonstrate its value to leadership. However, strictly traditional methods of evaluating the impact of learning provide a limited means of understanding the ways in which learning is tied to performance. Come learn how one of the world's largest technology companies is thinking beyond traditional learning measurement to evaluate the impact of learning. 

PresenterElizabeth Barisik, Learning Strategy and Insights at Microsoft

Elizabeth Barisik is a data and applied scientist for the Microsoft Learning Strategy and Insights team. In this role, she is tasked with looking for new ways to evaluate the impact of learning both within Microsoft and for its customers. Prior to Microsoft, Elizabeth was a senior research analyst for Bersin by Deloitte. She received a bachelor degree in Social Policy from Northwestern University and a masters of education from Vanderbilt University.
