Social Media for Small Business

I could talk to you for hours, speaking of the power of social media and the benefits and dangers of various platforms both individually and from a business perspective. We all know it... social media is here and we either jump on that train or get left behind. But it isn't that easy. We think we can set up a Facebook page or a Twitter account and just because we built it, they will come. Then they don't, and we're left scratching our heads, wondering what we have done wrong. The intention of this two-part webinar is to discover and uncover ways in which to powerfully reach your target markets while minimizing your time commitment.

Part I - Social Media for Beginners (10:00-11:30 AM CT, June 11, 2015)

  • Why do you need social media?

  • Overcome fear of using social media for business

  • Learn how to build platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Blog and the best way to connect them to increase productivity

  • Explore pros and cons of each platform, including reputation management

  • Receive checklists for each platform

Part II - You've Got Social Media - Now What? (10:00-11:30 AM CT, June 18, 2015)

  • Discover which platform(s) to focus on, based on your business type

  • Duplicate content without duplicating the effort – leverage each piece of content you create across multiple platforms

  • Build a content calendar that works for you
