School Supplies

School supplies are in the stores!  It's that time to restock our supplies.  It seems like I can never find markers under $4 unless it's "Back to School" season.

What supplies to you purchase to stock your training shelves?  Are you picky?  Do you prefer certain brands?

Please share here on the blog.

I like Crayola markers because they do not bleed. And I like Pampered Chef's Tool Turn-About to store all of our markers. It turns easily for easy access!

I prefer Mr. Sketch scented markers as I know they will not bleed through onto the wall when charting. I love the large poster paper that Joan McIntosh demonstrated in her graphic facilitation workshop. I like the foam dice I purchase from www.funexpress.com. I use these in a variety of ways - selecting the group leader, identifying how many application ideas the team has to identify, etc. And of course, my stuffed moose goes with me everywhere I go - you never know when you need to "put the moose on the table."

Gale, I can't get enough of the poster paper Joan demonstrated in her graphic facilitation workshop either. It is on the wall just about every time I do training/brainstorming. Gale Mote got me excited about note cards and I use them for new ideas, review and important ideas. I also us sticky notes regularly. Whenever there is a sale I buy the ones with sayings on them, they usually get a few laughs or at least conversation started.
